Job Description
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing an automated test system, designing test cases, and managing test execution and defect tracking. You will work closely with development and engineering teams to enhance software quality, optimize test processes, and ensure seamless system integration. Your role will be essential in defining test strategies, implementing CI/CD testing frameworks, and contributing to a high-tech development environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Automated Testing Systems - Design a comprehensive test automation framework from scratch.
- Integration & End-to-End Testing - Define and execute test plans, integration tests, and system validation to ensure seamless component interaction.
- Hands-on Testing & Test Automation - Perform manual test execution while automating processes for enhanced efficiency.
- System Validation & Software Quality Assurance - Conduct tests on microscopy imaging, remote monitoring, diagnostics, data handling, login security, and system control functionalities.
- Test Strategy & Planning - Establish structured methodologies for test execution, defect management, and quality assurance.
- CI/CD Integration - Incorporate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring smooth development cycles.
- Defect Tracking & Resolution - Identify, document, and resolve software defects using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Redmine.
- Quality Metrics & KPI Definition - Track and measure software quality metrics, including test coverage, defect density, and system performance.
- Testing Framework Optimization - Continuously analyze and refine the testing infrastructure to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
