We are looking for a Process Technologist to join a Research & Development team focused on specialized nutrition. This role is part of an innovative organization dedicated to creating high-quality nutritional products for vulnerable consumers such as infants, elderly, and patients. You will work in a collaborative environment that values technical expertise, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Job Description
As a Process Technologist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing practical process solutions across a variety of projects, including innovation, renovation, compliance, and efficiency initiatives. You will work closely with product developers, factories, and global operations to ensure smooth integration of process technologies. This includes conducting lab, pilot, and industrial trials, optimizing processes for liquid and powder products, and supporting new product introductions. You will act as a key link between R&D and Operations, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support pilot plant and industrial trials for process technology applications.
  • Develop and implement process solutions for liquid and powder products.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support new product introductions and factory projects globally.
  • Maintain and update process specifications and documentation.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and best practice guidance to factories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.


Profile

  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Bioprocessing, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in process development or factory technology, preferably in food or dairy. Starers are not considered for this role.
  • Strong knowledge of food and process technology fundamentals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively across functions.
  • Proactive, analytical, and hands-on approach with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Professional proficiency in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
