Summary:
The quality engineer is responsible for maintaining the quality framework during the engineering phase of the project.
Responsibilities:
Ensure quality is engineered into the project by the design engineering team.
Ensure project quality is delivered by construction management, contractors, vendors and commissioning engineers.
Implementation of Project Quality Management plans, schedules and document review process to ensure the use of Good Engineering Practice and Good Documentation Practice.
Collaboration with project teams to deliver project quality.
Identify areas of concern and report quality and compliance issues to the Head of ESQM.
Perform VTOP reviews, CCC reviews, SMC reviews, SMCPD reviews, IOC protocol review & approval pre and post execution and QA final reports.

-Design Team -Commissioning, Verification & Qualification Team
- Construction Management - QM-VAL
- Plant Engineering Services - Jacobs Engineering Construction Management Team
Requirements
Reviewing project documentation and deliverables for compliance to the applicable project procedures and company standards.
Approve relevant project documentation
Evaluate quality problems and request corrective actions
Ensure compliance with the processes and standards identified for the Facility Project
Establish cross-functional team work with CVQ, System Owners, Design Engineers, EHSS and Plant Engineering to deliver quality documentation for the Facility Project
Engage with and support the project leadership and colleagues for the Facility Project with knowledge and experience in Engineering Quality Assurance
Support the ESQM team, as required, to deliver GDP training and perform quality audits of contractors.
