PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Our Client which is a mid sized cardiovascular manufacturer based out of Limerick requires a Senior Project Manager to join the team that is launching a new cardiovascular product - they are currently in early concept & the full lifecycle of this project will be approx. 8 year. Role within the Aortic Program within the Vascular Division and will support a new AER (Aortic Endovascular Repair) device. It is a covered stent device to treat Aortic aneurysms & dissections
Additional Responsibilities
- Involvement in the full product lifecycle of a the product
- Standard PM activities incl working with the team of engineers, other divisions/stakeholders
- Opportunity to be involved in the full lifecycle of the product - from (PM perspective)
- They will also be playing a key role in liaison with a contract manufacturer based in Germany
- Team is currently being built from scratch but they will eventually be working with 12/13 ppl plus R&D, manufacturing, QA & CMO
- Strong communication & "be a cheer leader for the project"
- Manage risk/scope of the project
Experience
- 5+ yrs experience in project management (including 2-3 years in medical device industry) - ideally Class III cardio/neurovascular devices
- Proven Project Management methodology and skills - PMP or PRINCE 2 or another
- Strong Leadership Abilities
- Strong Communicator
- Highly motivated
