Clinical Data Systems Business Analyst

For one of our clients specialized in Medical Devices, we are looking for an experienced Clinical Data Systems Business Analyst.
This position is open to candidates with experience in using Clinical Trial Management System and Clinical Data Collection tools and who have exposure to software development testing (user acceptance testing or functional testing). Office-based position in Zaventem.

Job Description You will be joining a global team of business analysts who provide both systems support and systems testing for a clinical trial management system utilized in support of the clinical studies within Medical Devices. Responsibilities

  • Assists with application/report support for global customers, collaborating with external and internal customers, proactively and consistently participating in help line support schedule.
  • Global customers across USA, EMEA and APJ regions with a focus on EMEA and APJ customers for analyst based in Brussels.
  • Participates in regular maintenance activities related to Field IDs, name changes, training, etc. within the Clinical Data Systems (CDS).
  • Supports and collaborates with team members to complete projects, assigned tasks and adhoc requests.
  • With general supervision, writes and executes test cases and any related findings for user acceptance testing, as needed on designated projects.
  • Contributes to writing technical documentation and manuals.
  • Follows Departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Departmental Work Instruction (DWIs), and guidelines.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Relevant university degree
  • Experience in using Clinical Trial Management System/Clinical Data Collection tools and exposure to software development testing (user acceptance testing or functional testing) are mandatory.
  • Knowledge of software tools/platforms for organization, project management and testing
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Good understanding of clinical data collection tools with an emphasis on Oracle Clinical and Oracle Clinical's Remote Data Capture (RDC) system
  • Basic knowledge and experience building/customizing Clinical Trial Management Software Application
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a timely manner and meet assigned deadlines
  • Ability to troubleshoot process-related items
  • Basic ability to communicate technical items to non-technical audiences, and to communicate status proactively on pending projects to meet anticipated assigned deadlines
  • Applies best practices and established standards Preferred:
  • Fluency in English. Any other language is an asset. Callers mainly in EMEA or APAC region
  • Existing right to work in Europe required
