Job Description
The Export Shipping Coordinator manages export paperwork and shipment processes for assigned territories, ensuring consignments move on time and meet regulatory requirements. You will coordinate with sales and logistics colleagues to resolve queries, prepare hazardous and non-hazardous documentation, and maintain accurate shipping records. The role requires attention to detail and a practical understanding of international shipping rules.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and verify export documentation for shipments to EMEA customers
  • Generate and file transport and customs paperwork, including hazardous goods declarations
  • Liaise with export sales, freight forwarders and internal teams to meet shipment deadlines
  • Manage customer inquiries related to shipping timelines, documentation and compliance
  • Update and maintain accurate shipment and filing systems for audit readiness
  • Identify process improvements and support cost-saving initiatives in export operations
  • Adhere to company policies and regulatory standards in all export activities


Requirements

  • Proven experience handling export shipments in an international logistics or export customer service role
  • Certified knowledge of IATA and IMDG rules, with practical application experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Experience in scientific, pharmaceutical, food or chemical distribution is a plus
