Client are taking over the running of the IRN desk from existing partner later in 2020. Building team of internal plus external specialists to cover IRM Team to take over this work, and have openings at the moment for a Systems Engineer certified in Splunk and a Senior Cloud Engineer with AWS certification. Part of the work will involve monitoring a Digital Alarm System & build environments for Agile projects.
Responsibilities:
- Developing alerts to improve our monitoring.
- Co-ordinating incidents, including alerts to other engineering teams.
- Writing and refining troubleshooting guides and documentation.
Requirements:
- Min 5 years in AWS Cloud Engineering
- AWS Certification
- Knowledge of Linux (RHEL)
- Proven expertise with CI/CD (Azure DevOps and others)
- Experience with Configuration Management tooling (Puppet, Ansible)
- Experience with IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Experience working with Splunk (or similar)
- Proven scripting abilities (Bash, Python)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes nice to have)
- Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment
- Good understanding of the entire IT Infrastructure stack, including troubleshooting
- An existing right to work in the EU required
Additional Details:
- Expertise in Azure Cloud Engineering
- Certifications for RHEL, AWS and/or Azure is bonus
- 5 days per week (option for 1 day remote)
- Contract untill end of year
