Job Description
The company produces a broad variety of specialty chemicals, with broad applications. As Research analyst you will perform various analytical assays in the context of pilot plant studies. The R&D department supports pilot plant activities by troubleshooting, method development and sample analysis.
Responsibilities
- Performing analytical assays such as: chromatography & spectrometry;
- Writing analytical reports;
- Method development;
- Organization ans shipment of samples for outsourcing activities;
- Assist with analytical questions and general laboratory tasks
- BSc (HLO), in (Analytical) Chemistry;
- Demonstrable work (or internship) experience with GC-MS, LC-MS and organic spectroscopy (NMR, UV-VIS, FTIR, etc.);
- Solid understanding of chemical and chemical products (mainly polymers)
- Good oral and written communication skills in English (must) and Dutch (preferred);
- Available on short notice;
- Due to to location a driving licence and car are necessary;
- Start: asap
- Contract: through Oxford Global Resources;
- Duration: 6 months initially , realistic long term perspectives in in case of good performance;
- Salary: EUR 2700 - 3300 gross monthly based on education and experience;
- Holidays: 25 (+11)
