Job Description

Our client has several combination products at commercial stage. The client is executing a complex, global design transfer program to multiple vendors and CMOs across Europe, China, and the US for its latest products. To support this critical phase, the client is seeking experienced Statistical Analysis Experts to provide applied statistical input across tolerance analysis, tooling capability, and process capability evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal design engineering and quality teams as well as external vendors to support statistical elements for specification development and process validation.
  • Develop sampling strategies and perform statistical analyses on datasets generated from injection-molded components to support tool and process capability work across global sites.
  • Analyse small sample sets from large-scale production to provide clear insights - Cp, Cpk, process control charts, outlier detection, and probability-based assessments of capability.
  • Apply Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies to support optimizing manufacturing parameters, tooling configurations, and process settings.
  • Provide timely, practical statistical support-ranging from urgent, ad hoc requests to more methodical, long-term evaluations.
  • Clearly communicate findings to stakeholders, including non-statisticians, and proactively highlight risks or trends based on data.
  • Support and uphold Six Sigma-level capability standards during the setup of new tooling and processes at vendor sites.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to vendors lacking internal statistical expertise-guiding them through data-driven decision-making processes.

Requirements

  • Solid experience and strong fundamentals in applied statistics within life science industry - Medtech, Pharma & Biotech backgrounds all considered
  • Proficient in process capability analysis (Cp, Cpk), statistical distributions, control limits, standard deviation, and applied probability.
  • Skilled in Design of Experiments (DOE), including planning, execution, and interpretation of results.
  • Capable of balancing statistical integrity with real-world application-delivering meaningful insights without overcomplication.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and advise stakeholders and vendors.
  • Experience with global manufacturing operations or development programs is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in JMP is a must, other statistical tools such as Minitab are useful
  • Fluent in English
  • Prior experience of statistical analysis within life science manufacturing operations or development programs is advantageous

Benefits

  • Competitive and attractive hourly pay rate
  • Long-term project - through to end of 2027
