Job description
This is a challenging vacancy for an R&D analyst with work experience with instrumental techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, GC, ICP-MS, etc). This role focuses on method development, troubleshooting and making new methods robust. You train and supervise other employees/users and in this way you contribute to the further professionalization of this laboratory. Our client is an international company and this laboratory is one of the reference laboratories for a large part of the world. The methods and techniques developed here are used all over the world, and this laboratory also provides troubleshooting on samples from various locations.
Responsibilities
- Method development with ICP, LC, GC, Mass Spectrometry and other instrumental techniques
- Troubleshooting on existing analyzes and problems reported from QC
- Writing prescriptions & Interpreting data
- Training/supervising laboratory technicians/analysts in the use of equipment and new methods
Profile
- Completed HLO or MSc degree in the chemical direction
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in a chemical laboratory
- Experience with method development and troubleshooting
- You communicate clearly and directly and can motivate in a structured way why optimization steps are necessary/done
- You are proactive, eager to learn and get energy from the challenge in the job
- You speak fluent English
Benefits
- Employment: Temporary for a period of 1 year with the possibility of extension
- Salary indication: From approximately €2600 to €4000 gross per month
