Oxford's client in Northern France are ideally seeking a French speaking Senior Electrical Designer to join their team for an initial 6 month project.
The elec engineer will follow all new project for the e-part. The projects consist mainly of new to be built or adapted production lines. All linked to that will be followed, challenged and specified.
Interact with the responsible of the different process areas to identify need and solutions for each area, incl. the link with automation.
Identify requirements for the elec equipment based on local regulations, and processes to obtain additional elec. capacity to a site. Align with local business on the approach.
With customers (plants-business) identify the existing equipment that need to be adapted, replaced (green and brownfields), make specifications for that that can be send to external engineering that will take on the engineering tasks.
Follow/challenge work from external engineering, challenge given solutions for optimization.
Request quotations to suppliers, again challenge solutions for improvements support in the tendering process.
Support the site team (incl. the site elec engineer) during the installation of the project where needed. Act as trouble shouter in case of issues either from engineering, supplier or local regulations and situation.
Optimize and develop standard solutions from an electrical point of view.
