About the client
Our client is a large and well established company in the R&D and manufacturing of products for the pharmaceutical industry. At their site in Valais, they are experienced in analytical services, the manufacturing of small molecules and an extensive portfolio of CDMO services. They have a facility with cutting-edge technology and a large, international team.

Job description
Our client is looking for a QC specialist to ensure the quality control of raw materials, including consumables, excipients, and primary packaging for the support of drug product manufacturing. The successful candidate will manage specifications, test and release raw materials, and author reports and SOPs, all under GMP standards.

Responsibilities

  • Quality control of raw materials (consumables, excipients, primary packaging) under GMP conditions.
  • Review external testing data against specifications and historical data.
  • Testing and release of raw materials.
  • Assessment of testing requirements for raw materials.
  • Supporting laboratory investigations in collaboration with external testing laboratories.
  • Data compilation and analysis for reports and presentations.
  • Authors and approves reports and SOPs under GMP conditions.


Requirements

  • Technical education with 5 years pharma experience OR Bachelor with 2-3 years of pharma experience.
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry under GMP.
  • Experience in raw materials and/or QC.
  • Experience with testing, methods, and instruments used in analytical testing of raw materials.
  • Experience with Raman, NIR/FTIR Spectroscopy is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German language is a pre.
