Production Supervisor
Location: On-site, Clonmel (Two-shift operation: Day & Afternoon/Evening)



Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisors / Associate Production Managers to lead production teams within our fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will directly influence daily operations, drive performance excellence, and support continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, and engagement metrics.
This role combines operational leadership with people development, process ownership, and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated manufacturing setting.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop production teams of 25-40 associates, ensuring alignment with operational goals and organizational values.
  • Execute daily and weekly production plans to meet targets in Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost metrics.
  • Monitor, analyze, and drive performance using key indicators such as cycle time, yield, throughput, and output quality.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement; plan, implement, and sustain operational excellence initiatives.
  • Provide feedback, performance management, and career development guidance to direct reports.
  • Implement staffing plans, manage schedules, and coordinate resource requirements with HR.
  • Oversee compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards (including FDA, BSI, and EEO regulations).
  • Interact with internal and external customers, responding to requests and clarifying procedures.
  • Interpret and execute organizational policies affecting team members.
  • Maintain personnel records, adjust work schedules, and make data-driven decisions that optimize floor operations.
  • May perform individual contributor tasks as needed, especially in peak production periods.


Team & Structure

  • On-site role with full responsibility for assigned unit operations.
  • Operates within a two-shift cycle (typically 08:00-16:00 and 16:00-24:00), with flexible start times for overlap and handoffs.
  • Closely partners with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, and NPI (New Product Introduction).


Experience & Background
Essential:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing or operational environment.
  • Proven ability to drive performance and continuous improvement using metrics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong operational mindset comfortable managing everyday challenges in a production setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams, resolving issues, and achieving targets.
  • Bachelor's degree (HETAC Level 8 or equivalent) in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline required.

Preferred:

  • Background in medical device manufacturing or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with structured quality and safety frameworks.
  • Experience in operations, customer service, or cost optimization roles.
