Oxford's client is a leading aerospace company in design, development and production of innovative aircraft components and systems.
They are seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join them onsite in Austria to help add essential guidance and expertise to their team.
Lead Electrical Design Engineer
70% Lead, 30% design
Tasks:
* Co-ordination of Team in Austria, Pune, Braitslava,
- Creation, review and negotiation of requirement and functional of electrical systems
* Development and assessment of concepts, feasibility study, definition of prototypes
* Creation and review of wiring harness in/on Aircraft Interior Parts or drones in 3D-CAD, wiring diagram, parts lists and layup drawings, selection of components
* Verification of electric and lightning systems, creation of test plans , release and approval of serial production
* Configuration and change management, data maintenance in FACC internal PLM/ERP System (SAP)
* Root Cause Analysis and development of problem-solve solutions
* Task scheduling and schedule tracking für a small team
Requirements:
* Relevant education of electrical engineering (polytechnic/college/university) and several years' experience
* Experience in wiring (ideally in automotive), lightning, control as well as earth fault
* Visual thinking, experience in a 3D-CAD system (CATIA V5 preferred)
* Enjoyment of collaboration and problem solving in a multidisciplinary and international development team
* Good English skills (speech & writing)
* Willingness to occasional international business trips
