(Junior) Marketing Associate - Oncology

Our client, a pharma company located in Brussels, is looking for a (Junior) Marketing Associate - Oncology (Belux region) to come on board and join their team.
This position is an hybrid working opportunity (min 2 days/week is required at client's location in Brussels).

Job Description

The (Junior) Marketing Associate - Oncology will support the brand leads with the marketing of 2 exciting products for the management of Oncology (breast, lung & thyroid) on the Belgian and Luxemburg market. Together with the brand lead, the (Junior) Marketing Associate - Oncology will be responsible for executing customer plans by delivering unparalleled customer experience to continuously develop the company's leading position in oncology.
The role combines a clear focus on execution of the customer/brand plan with a close collaboration at local level with marketing, digital, medical & sales counterparts. It also requires an ability to prioritize work due to the split responsibilities between several products and to be able to work independently.

Responsibilities
Tactical implementation by delivering unparalleled customer experiences:

  • You help to develop, manage, and especially execute the marketing plans in collaboration with other colleagues from Medical, Digital, Marketing Departments and with the Brand Manager - Oncology.
  • You identify and develop specific projects or tactics for executing brand strategy. For example, you make proposals by creating marketing material.
  • You are responsible for collaboration with external agencies to develop innovative and effective customer solutions. For example, you coordinate marketing material approval activities with communication agencies (Veeva).
  • You effectively develop and use relationships with internal stakeholders to positively impact product/brand performance.
  • You participate to Marketing meetings.
  • You drive execution of brand strategies through implementation of tactics, integrating and optimizing the channel mix when defining the major tactics. You follow up on approval of marketing materials and projects.


Capacity to engage with Internal team:

  • Local Marketing, Digital & Medical: you effectively develop cross-functional relationships (meetings FtF/virtual) with all Brand team members to successfully develop and execute customer plan.
  • Local Sales: you have the capacity to engage Sales Reps using the CDM (Customer Dialogue Model: get input - enhance materials - transfer with help of brand ambassadors).
  • Collaboration with Medical Shared Services, Legal and E&C: Respect of the company and local standards.

Requirements

  • You have a bachelor's and/or a master's degree in Marketing, Life Sciences or Business.
  • You have a first working or internship experience in marketing, in life science or as a Pharmacist in an Officine and you are interested in building up a career in pharma marketing/brand management.
  • You are bilingual French/English or Dutch/English with an intermediate level of Dutch/French or at least, the willingness to develop your knowledge in the other language.
  • You have the ambition to learn and to excel.
  • You are creative.
  • You are flexible and can adapt to changing priorities.
  • You have a strong focus on your priorities and can deliver on time.
  • You work accurately and you have an eye for details.
  • Ability to work independently in a cross functional environment.
  • You are a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You have a good knowledge of MS Office
