Our client is looking for an experienced leader to become the head of the Investigation & Improvement department. This role is key to enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring top-notch product quality within the pharmaceutical industry.

Job Description:
You will lead the Investigation & Improvement team, focusing on optimizing production processes. Your responsibilities include managing investigations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvements. Working closely with other departments, you will solve production challenges and uphold high standards of product quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 9 professionals, guiding their growth and performance
  • Set and achieve departmental goals aligned with production objectives
  • Lead the Investigation & Improvement team, encouraging a culture of improvement
  • Oversee and prioritize department activities to meet operational goals
  • Work with QA, RA, and other teams to resolve production issues
  • Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze processes to find and apply improvement opportunities
  • Prepare for audits and inspections, ensuring full compliance
  • Report on the department's progress to senior leadership

Profile:

  • Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Science or Pharmacy preferred; Bachelor's degree with strong experience is considered.
  • Significant experience leading investigation and improvement teams in pharmaceuticals.
  • Proven success in enhancing efficiency and product quality.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.

Benefits and practical information:

  • Salary range: €6000,- to €7500,- gross monthly depending on experience
  • Region: Haarlem
  • Working hours: Full-time position
  • Contract type: long term position, first contract through Oxford
