Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Laboratory Scientist that will be supporting analytical potency testing and method optimization. This role focuses on assay execution, documentation, and quality-driven lab practices within a fast-paced bio-analytics environment. The ideal candidate will carry out various binding and functional assays to support development and testing activities. You'll also contribute to improving lab operations and assist with troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct binding and functional assays such as ELISA, SPR, CBA, or enzyme-based methods.
- Perform method development, optimization, and pre-validation of analytical techniques.
- Carry out buffer preparation and routine lab maintenance tasks.
- Document all testing activities in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Participate in non-GMP batch release, formulation, and stability testing of drug products.
- Support equipment calibration and standard laboratory procedures.
- Assist in drafting method SOPs, validation protocols, and technical reports.
- Investigate and troubleshoot analytical method or instrumentation issues.
Requirements
- Degree or apprenticeship in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience in a laboratory within the pharma or biotech sector.
- Available to start in May.
- Proven ability to conduct, analyze, and document scientific assays and experiments.
- Familiarity with analytical software such as LIMS, Electronic Lab Notebooks, or SoftMax Pro.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Capable of working independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Understanding of GDP and ISO documentation standards.
