Job description
As an Associate Scientist you are responsible for the (further) development of our production processes. To this end, you independently set up experiments and use or develop various analytical methods to help you with the research. You are part of a project team that is supported by various departments within this company. As an Associate Scientist, you work together with a team on healthcare in an international environment. You get the chance to develop yourself. Responsibilities
- Development and refinement of production processes. Scale up your invention with techniques such as fermentation, filtration and centrifugation.
- Perform or develop biological or analytical tests to support the development of the manufacturing process, e.g. enzymatic assays, cell culture and counting, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Western blot.
- You actively participate in the team and give your opinion about our projects, outside of your own assignment.
- Providing a fresh perspective within the department: your opinion and input is invaluable.
Profile
- An HBO or MSc Life Sciences comparable
- You are familiar with various microbiological and cell biological techniques
- You are looking for a job where you have the freedom to take initiative
- You speak fluent Dutch or English
