Job Description

Our client requires an experienced Associate Manager of Communications to lead internal and external communication efforts and manage projects aligned to business objectives including communication planning, brand content development, event production, change management, copywriting, content development for the business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clear, strategic and prioritized communication to employees through written communications, presentations and informal interactions
  • Partner with leaders and HR team to develop annual internal communications plan and strategy that will reinforce key strategies, value propositions and drive extensive partner engagements internally and externally
  • Foster and maintain effective relationships with business leaders to ensure alignment with communication approach and tactics
  • Write and communicate key documents to various audiences, including but not limited to: proposals, scripts, presentations, emails, social media content, scripts, talking points, messaging documents, etc.
  • Plan, produce and oversee the launch of various communication projects such as videos, website content or podcasts, to drive awareness, engagement and education among internal and external stakeholder
  • Deliver urgent and business-critical communications as appropriate in a timely manner with high quality
  • Champion brand and communication standards to ensure on-brand and consistent look, feel and voice. Empower employees to utilize the same communications and branding guidelines
  • Manage partners and outside agencies responsible for providing support for messaging, branding, and customer experience activities
  • Collaborate with cross divisional counterparts to ensure consistent processes and messaging
  • Regularly evaluate and provide reporting of communications tactics, utilizing data collection platforms and partner feedback, to improve access, effectiveness, metrics and overall engagement of communications tactics.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in related communications capacity demonstrating marketing, communications, and program management skills
  • Demonstrated problem solver with a strategic mindset and passion for delivering communications plans
  • Proficient copywriter with experience distilling and translating complex information into a wide range of marketing and communications materials for various audience segments
  • Analytical thinker who can interpret data, communicate insights, and make recommendations
  • Deep understanding of web, digital and social media platforms
  • Demonstrated strength in proactively and independently leading multiple projects and initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Proven relationship-builder, with the ability to form mutually beneficial partnerships across a diverse and global network (employees through executive leadership)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all constituents (internal and external, entry to executive level)
  • Experience in event management and production (in-person and virtual).
