The position Study Manager is at an international company located in Amsterdam. You work as a project lead on method development and validation for pharmaceutical clients, and guide the lab team.
Job Description
You are part of a small team of study managers that has two main responsibilities. The first one is client contact to manage their projects by developing methods and SOPs, writing reports and validations. Secondly, you will oversee the lab team by supervising them for these client projects, being the main contact for them. The clients are typically pharmaceutical companies, and they require GMP-compliant methods. Since you are closely involved with the current projects and methods being used, you are in a key position to motivate and help the team where necessary giving you are very dynamic and involved role as Study Manager.
Responsibilities
- Managing client studies in analytical chemistry
- GMP method development and validation
- Interpreting lab results and writing reports
- Overseeing and motivating the laboratory team
Profile
- Master or PhD in a relevant field (e.g. analytical chemistry)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- GMP background
- Experience with analytical method development
- Customer contact or experience as team lead is a plus
- English is a requirement
