Work Product Owner - Data Management ("Data Manager")

Job Description

Tasks:

The Work Product Owner - Data Management ("Data Manager") has a central coordination role during the two phases of our customer projects. In the first phase ("Build up") his primary responsibility is to collect and adjust with the customer and other project members (test manager, function owners, HIL lead, data collection lead) the requirements for the toolchain and setup a development plan with the data management toolchain development teams. In the second phase ("Operation") he is the primary contact for the project members and coordinates and executes data ingest, data exchange to partners and supports data reprocessing by providing up-to-date numbers of the available data and their lifecycle state and coordinating 1-2 operation engineers to perform data related tasks (ingest, exchange, data repair,… ).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Interface to Data Management Platform Development

Acquire, develop, understand, and document data management platform requirements based on requests from internal/external customers.

Manage and negotiate requirements, change requests and unwritten expectations.

Gather, wrap up, and communicate project milestones and needs in a clear and unambiguous way

Negotiate feature development timelines and set priorities

Data Operation coordination and execution

Coordination and execution of data upload, data preparation, data reprocessing and data exchange with partners

Coordination with partners for data upload and data exchange

Driving data curation (data maintenance, repair activities, deletion of unused files)

Technical skills

Python

Work with REST APIs/Postman (HTTP POST and GET)

Knowledge of MS Office package (especially Excel)

Preferably knowledge of AWS APIs (Athena)
