Plan, Build model and organize around platforms and functional areas. The Plan group will focus on forecasting supply/demand and architecting solutions. The Build group will focus on designing, developing, testing, and delivering new solutions. These new solutions will be transitioned to the Operations Team for ongoing support and maintenance. Or manage supplemental resources who will be accountable for delivering a solution. “Manage” includes providing estimates (time, spend, etc.), guiding solution design, system testing as well as resolving project issues and risks in a timely fashion.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Accountable to drive delivery execution while collaborating with various stakeholders (Functional Lead IT Team, Build Team, Solution Providers, IT Quality, Project Managers and the business users)
- Depending upon the size of the project, this role will require to: Both be hands-on for small projects and deliver a solution. “Solutions” can vary (mainly integration, but also configuration etc.), but with a common denominator being Workday
- Understand the end-to-end business processes, functional as well as technical requirements
- Align both the functional and technical teams to ensure scope is synced between both areas
- Work with IT functional leads and Project Managers upstream & downstream (project planning & initiation phase as well as delivery phase) in order to define technical scope, delivery budget, and timelines
- Manage the timely delivery of the project
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with Workday
- And leading and completing full Workday implementations
- Current or previous Workday Certification is preferred
- Provide expert guidance for the analysis, design and implementation of Workday
- An existing right to work in the EU required
