Job Description
In this position you are responsible for planning and supervising a team of technicians that manufacture cell therapies by culturing cells in a commercial pharmaceutical environment. Experience with cell culture is a huge plus, although the main focus is people management and communicative abilities. You will work in the same shifts as your team, which facilitates a good relationship and subsequently proper supervision.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and coach a team of around 10-15 technicians
- Ensure that the lab work can be performed and any issues can be resolved
- Generate SOPs, write deviations and change controls
- Work on validation and process improvement together with your multi-disciplinary team
- Track KPI's
- Conduct performance reviews
- Taking interviews
Profile
- At least a HBO degree in a scientific field
- Demonstrable experience with leading a large team
- Fluency in English
- Cell culture experience is highly desired
- GMP knowledge is a big plus
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system
Practical information and Benefits
- Full-time position, on-site work
- Salary indication: €5000-5500 per month + shift allowance over all hours
- Morning and evening shifts, 7 days per week
- Start with an Oxford contract, long-term position
