Job description
Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company with various sites around the globe. In the team that works on operational excellence and harmonisation is a position for a technical specialist with a microbiology background. You will be at the forefront of new techniques and the implementation locally and in labs globally. You will be involved in transfer, troubleshooting, writing of documents (SOP's and reports). This is a hands-off position which is suitable for an experienced microbiology technician that has some experience with (lab) coordination in a QC GMP environment.
Responsibilities
Support development & validation projects for the implementation of (Rapid) Microbiology QC tests
Collaboration with various project teams to support microbial assays, conduct comparability studies (new assays vs existing methods)
Set up experiments and investigate new assays or technologies
Generation of technical documents such as project plans, technical summaries, protocols and reports
Provide support to sites in the network on microbiology topics if and when required
Requirements
BSc or MSc in a relevant discipline such as microbiology or biotechnology;
5+ year experience in a microbiology QC laboratory;
Experience with coordination of tasks/projects in a QC setting
Experience with classical microbiology is a must and rapid testing (eg. rapid sterility using BacT) is a plus
Experience with GMP is a big plus
Fluent in English, both oral and in writing. Dutch is a plus
Quality minded, improvement oriented, good interpersonal skills

Benefits
Employment: 1 year via Oxford Global Resources Solutions, with intent to extend
Salary indication: €3500 - 5000 bruto per month
Working hours: 40 hours/week
