If you have experience with USP-Process development in a pharmaceutical setting, this is the role for you! We are looking for a Senior Technician / Junior Scientist for our international biotech client in Amsterdam.

Job description

You work in a modern biotech firm that produces bio pharmaceutical products for clients. You work on developing USP-processes on laboratory scale. Once these processes work reliably, they are upscaled and transferred to production. You do not work in a GMP-environment but you do keep the final GMP-application in mind during this process. For some projects, you can transfer an existing method and adjust it, but you will also work on full method development. You mainly work with bacteria/fermentation and have access to microscopes, FACS, and other important techniques to analyse the progress. Outside of the hands-on work in the lab, you collaborate with other teams and occasionally meet scientists or engineers working at clients for technical discussions.

Responsibilities

  • USP Method Transfer and Development
  • Planning and execution of small-scale experiments
  • Method transfer to Production
  • Collaboration with internal teams
  • Some client contact regarding technical details

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (biochemistry, life sciences, biotech, etc)
  • 3+ years of experience in USP process development
  • GMP-Experience is a big plus
  • (Unlimited) EU work permit

Benefits

  • Contract: Long term position, contract directly with our client
  • Salary indication: €4200- €5700,-
  • Working hours: Full time, no shifts
  • Great secondary benefits
  • Location: Amsterdam
  • Vacaturenummer: 25101
