Oxford Global Resources is now recruiting a Senior Project Engineer. You will be a member of the Projects Department.
We are looking for an individual who will thrive in a busy environment and enjoys collaborating with a wide range of people across a number of departments, internal project teams and external clients and suppliers. From time to time, visits to our project teams at client sites may be necessary.
Your day-to-day role would involve the following activities:
- Support a project manager or project lead on projects
- Identify resource needs, timing and organize with client
- Establish process and procedures for project execution and variation orders
- Involve in end to end procurement and cost management
- Develop and agree project schedule(s), track/report progress and implement controls
- Develop project budget, monitor and report
- Coordinate the design between site team and sub consultant
- Set up the project change log, prepare change notices
- Liaise with Design, Construction Teams and sub consultants
- To provide technical support to site based engineers during construction phase of a project
- Prepare project report for the Customer (weekly/monthly or otherwise as required by the Customer or as appropriate to the project), covering HSE, project progress (achieved and planned), cost and schedule status, ensuring visibility of key project risks, trends and areas of concern
We would like to hear from candidates who have:
- A Degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification
- A minimum of 8 - 10 years Project/Process Design Engineering experience
- Experience in some of the following industries is essential:Food/ Nutritional
Pharmaceutical
Biotechnology
Medical devices - Understanding of pharmaceutical/ food GMP regulations, as well as GEP/ ISPE/ ASME standards etc
- Good planning and strong communication skills
