Our client, an innovative startup, is looking for an experienced Senior Chemical Analyst for their new laboratory in Rotterdam. The lab specializes in the analysis of mineral oil components in food. This position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to make a significant contribution to public health.


Job Description:
As a Senior Chemical Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting detailed chemical analyses of food and animal feed products within an ISO 17025-certified environment. You will perform analyses from weighing and measurement to data evaluation, operate and maintain advanced spectroscopic and chromatographic instruments, implement quality assurance measures, develop and review standard operating procedures (SOPs), optimize work processes in collaboration with your colleagues, and contribute to internal laboratory sample logistics.

Profile:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (an excellent HLO candidate will also be considered)
  • Experience with gas chromatography (GC) and working with oils
  • Proficiency in performing analyses and data evaluation
  • Ability to work independently and think critically
  • Good command of the English language


Benefits:

  • Salary: €2600 - €3000 per month
