Have you finished your PhD in a immunology / microbial area? Are you familiar with mouse models (article 9) and have you setup different immunogenicity assays? We are looking for a scientist who can support the immunology group in evaluating the immunogenicity and efficacy of potential vaccine candidates against several bacterial diseases in animal models.
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated scientist to play a key role in evaluating the immunogenicity and efficacy of potential vaccine candidates. The role requires knowledge of immunological techniques The scientist will work in close collaboration with other scientists and technicians in evaluating vaccine candidates. Also some supervision of the work of technicians is anticipated.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of immunological assays such as ELISA, killing assays, Electrochemiluminescence assays (ECL), B- and T-cell ELISPOT, proliferation assays, cytokine release assays, intracellular cytokine staining, FACS analysis and cell culturing.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of new assays to measure immune responses of various bacterial vaccine candidates.
- Designing and evaluation of pre-clinical in vivo mode.
Requirements
- Ph.D in biological/medical sciences with strong immunology/bacteriology background.
- Certified Animal experiments (article 9, 13F or comparable)
- Accurate, flexible, stress-resistant, proactive and independent.
- Experience working in a industrial setting is a plus
