Length Of Assignment: 3 months. There will be a project break for all in July so week starting 12th and 19th July will be official holidays.
Location(s) - Mainly Douai, France. May also involve on-site work in Orleans, France
Remote / on site schedule - Approx 50% on-site & 50% remote, but could be up to a max of 3 days/week on-site. If the consultant does need to be on-site in both sites (Douai & Orleans) then the client will make sure that it's scheduled so they never have to travel to 2 different sites in the one week. Most users are working on site even during Covid as food production site. Some fully remote weeks will also be OK at times, it will vary.

Title: SAP APO Consultant
PROJECT BACKGROUND: Client is rolling out SAP ECC6.0 core model to some sub companies from template in the UK. The UK have been live for 2 years, roll-out project for France & NL is underway with 1st test underway and 2nd cycle early June. 1st cycle is for core Logistics, but APO will come into scope for 2nd test cycle. APO is currently used already at one site in the UK, but not completely validated. The test cycle will be done by the local team with support from the central team, so to help the local team they need a French APO consultant to help with validation, support & training consultant.
Role description: The role is mainly focused on testing & validating the process, and supporting the test cycle. Helping the BPOs to do their test and first line trouble-shooting. Also will need to provide training - a mix of one-to-one type training and some classroom training for bigger groups. No need to produce any training material as they already have that in place, and they don't use any particular training tool - can use mix of Powerpoints, Excel etc. Some post go live support also. The consultant will work predominantly with a group of local Business Process Owners, but will be liaising with local Key Business Users and a central project team.
In addition to an English-speaking central project team:
- Provide an on-site first-line support in locallanguagetotheBPOs local team on:
- Test cycles
- Hyper care support after go-live
- Help the BPOs local team on master data preparation and end-users training
SKILLS NEEDED -
- APO - Fluent in French and English. Ideally some PP also, as likely to need some help also on PP.
- On APO sub areas :
- SNP for sure.
- DP and PPDS potentially.
- GATP and CIF not required
