Job Description
For one of our pharmaceutical clients in Leiden, one of the leading biotech companies with expertise in the manufacturing of vaccines & antibodies for infectious diseases, We are searching for a suitable project manager to drive the design and deployment of small/medium size capital projects related to analytical equipment and to be a strategic partner with the engineering organization and the project manager office.
Responsibilities
- Lead a project's conceptual phase in close collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver strategic solutions that are in line with the company's strategy.
- To drive the project, define and lead a multidisciplinary team (internal/external).
- Ascertain that policies, procedures, statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as customer specifications, are met.
- Assist the business in clarifying process flows, developing the business case, and defending the project at various decision levels.
- Develop and monitor the budget and approval process to ensure that project schedules, budgets, procedures, and revenues are met.
- Create, maintain, and present written reports on project status, risks, costs, issues, and performance against established targets on a regular basis to keep senior management informed.
- Ensure that the project's EHS&S, GMP, and finance policies and procedures are followed.
- Select QC personnel will be mentored and trained in the best Project Management practices and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Masters degree required, preferably in a scientific field;
- 3-6 years experience within project management is required, within Pharma, Supply Chain, R&D or Distribution Offices
- Preferably experience in a pharmaceutical environment and good knowledge of GMP;
- Analytical knowledge is preferred;
- Demonstrable experience with project management and governance structures;
- Strong communication skills;
- Able to work independently;
- Flexible and accurate;
- Good organizational capabilities;
- Professional proficiency in English;
- Valid EU work permit is a must
Benefits
- Contract: temporary project through Oxford for 3-6 months;
- Salary: €4200- €5300 gross monthly based on education/ experience;
- Holidays: 25 (+12)
- Working hours: full-time, 32 hours discussable
