Job Description
As a member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for assembly, packaging, Inspection, and serialization equipment. Your tasks will be contributing to the achievement of excellence as defined by best industry practices.
Responsibilities
Manage the packaging engineering team day to day operations to meet equipment OEE targets
Planning and project management of new product and equipment introduction
Maintain packaging standards to meet customer requirements
Manage packaging engineering changes to meet customer requirements and optimize line OEE
Optimize preventative maintenance program for packaging equipment operations
Generate Packaging specifications compliant to FDA, HPRA, ISO and other relevant regulations
Provide technical, compliance and quality input to vendor-generated documentation, commissioning and qualification
Troubleshoot packaging processes and recommended improvements to streamline productivity output
Generate ideas, concepts/designs and working with internal stakeholders to support the packaging process
Manage equipment installations and commissioning activities to ensure completion and start up per plan
Initiate engineering change controls, impact assessments and incident investigations associated with packaging
Comply with site GMP & EHS requirements from a local, global and regulatory perspective.
Requirements
A working knowledge within a cGMP regulated environment, FDA, HPRA and familiar with visual inspection, packaging and serialisation processes
Third level qualification to Engineering Degree
Experience in an engineering/packaging role preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
Ability to read and interpret general business documents and to compile Technical reports
Ability to work with peers and communicate
Ability to solve problems with complex variables through non-standardized solutions that require independent judgment and analysis
Ability to draw inferences and use deductive reasoning with no prescribed procedures to solve complex problems
Familiar with packaging and equipment automation
Good Interpersonal and communication skills
