Our client, Lonza, is a global leader in the life sciences sector and plays a key role in the development and manufacturing of innovative cell and gene therapies. For their advanced biomanufacturing facility in South Limburg, we are looking for an Operational Excellence Trainer to support production and quality teams with high-quality GMP training.

Job Description
As an Operational Excellence Trainer, you are responsible for delivering training programs to operators within Manufacturing, Production Support, and Quality Control. You ensure that employees are properly trained on GMP procedures, production activities, and process-specific operations.
You will support onboarding for new employees, organize refresher training, and provide coaching when processes change or improvements are implemented. Working closely with the Training Coordinator and Head of Operational Excellence, you monitor training progress, identify improvement opportunities, and help maintain a strong culture of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver onboarding and recurring training for Manufacturing, Production Support, and QC staff
  • Provide training on GMP procedures, production processes, and equipment
  • Track training progress and ensure compliance with training schedules
  • Identify training gaps and support improvements in training programs
  • Coordinate mock runs, equipment training, and hands-on sessions
  • Provide guidance to contractors and visitors entering GMP areas
  • Act as a role model for GMP compliance and best practices


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biology, or similar
  • At least 3 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment
  • Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring colleagues is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of GMP and biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage
  • Hands-on, structured, and detail-oriented working style
  • Living in the South Limburg region (NL) with a valid EU working permit

  • Contract: Temporary assignment until July 22nd with possibility of extension
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, day shift
  • Salary: €3,500 - €5,500 per month depending on experience
