Job Description
The position is performed within a cGMP environment and must at least meet all quality and safety requirements and industry standards applicable by the official auditing bodies.
This concerns, among other things, production facilities, product safety, qualification of the personnel, procedures and documentation.
Apply of workers wellbeing, environmental and energy management policies in accordance with training and instructions, including the proper use of work equipment and personal protective equipment, incident and non-conformity reporting, and identification assistance of risks and preventive measures.
Responsibilities
Our client is a biotechnological production site for therapeutic proteins. These proteins are produced via cell cultures in bioreactors, followed by a purification process.
In this position, the focus is on the purification process. From a thorough scientific and technical specialization, you ensure process support and monitoring of the production processes by:
Support for changes to existing production processes by generating scientific / technical study protocols and reports
Data trending and monitoring of running processes, methodologies, analyzes to ensure process reliability, as well as an accurate understanding of the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes
Determination of product impact in case of significant deviations in the production process
Collection, analyzes, interpretation and reporting of data and analyzes. Maintaining, adjusting and communicating of documentation
Requirements
You have minimum a Master in Life Sciences or equivalent through experience
Scientific background is necessary
You have very good knowledge of NL and ENG, both written and oral
Specific experience with purifying proteins or growing mammalian cells in bioreactors, on a lab and/or production scale is a plus
Very good technical writing skills and able to draw up protocols and reports
Knowledge of cGMP is a plus
Team player and good communication skills
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Accurate and pay attention to details and process knowledge.
