Our client is looking for an experienced Medical Consultant with expertise in immunology.
Job Description
As Medical Consultant Immunology, you are reporting to the Medical Director in Belgium and collaborating/supporting the Medical Affairs Professionals in Immunology. The focus will be on rheumatology, providing your expertise and insights from a physicians' point of view, contribute with strategic/tactical thinking, implement specific medical projects, and share scientific data with clinical experts.
Responsibilities
- As Medical Consultant you support the Medical affairs profession in brand team tasks
- As Medical Consultant you are responsible for clinical, scientific, and strategic input to support the cross functional team
- As Medical Consultant you are responsible for development / implementation of medical pre-launch projects
- By offering scientific and creative input, the Medical Consultant contributes to the development and review of promotional materials
- As Medical Consultant you communicate effectively and transfer knowledge of the therapeutic available solutions environment, the clinical landscape and relevant medical and scientific information
- The Medical Consultant oversees the collation and analysis of customer information to drive understanding and insights
- As Medical Consultant you will support the medical training needs of internal business partners such as sales and marketing
- The Medical Consultant must review and medical approval of promotional materials
- As Medical Consultant you contribute/review price and reimbursement dossiers
- As Medical Consultant you have to respond to external customer questions and needs when question cannot be answered by Medical Shared Service
- As Medical Consultant you are responsible for organization of advisory boards & speaker briefing
- The Medical Consultant has to develop and deliver scientific, educational, and promotional presentations
- As Medical Consultant has to share scientific data with clinical experts
- As Medical Consultant you are responsible to critically read and evaluate relevant medical literature to be current in the Therapeutic Area
- The Medical Consultant needs to be up to date with medical and other scientific developments relevant to the product or portfolio
- The Medical Consultant has to be aware of current trends, issues and projections for clinical practice and access
Requirements
- You hold a scientific master's degree
- You have intensive knowledge on immunology
- Previous experience in rheumatology is a big advantage
- You have proven experience in medical affairs or at the customer interface
- You have strong interpersonal skills, communication, teamwork, project management and pro-activity
- You have strong presentation skills
- You have the ability to 'translate' scientific data into meaningful and clear content for customer communications and engagement
- You have the ability to effectively partner cross-functionally including Marketing and sales, strong leadership
- You can handle a high workload capacity including ability to manage and prioritize broad deliverables of a complex nature
- You have proficient computer skills in MS Office
- You have demonstrated success in self-managing priorities and multi-tasking projects
- You have the ability to work effectively and share information within a team environment
- You are fluent in French and English. Dutch is a plus.
