Job description

Our client's microbiology department is looking for a lab analyst who can be deployed for various tests (Water tests, LAL, bioburden, ...). The group consists of about 15 people where both analysts and project engineers work together. The samples that enter the microbiological lab come from cleanrooms, stability locks, validation lots or production. They are tested, checked whether the valid GMP guidelines for the aseptically prepared pharmaceutical products are met, including necessary for the release of the product to the market.

Responsibilities

In the context of covid-19 analyses, they are looking for an experienced lab profile.
Please have experience with one of the following analyses:

  • bioburden analysis
  • water filtration analysis
  • identification (maldi / genetic analyzer / PCR)
  • endotoxin analysis
  • sterility analysis
  • performing pharmacopeia growth promotion tests on medium

Profile

  • Minimum diploma requirement: A1 / Bachelor
  • Preferred field of study: microbiology, pharmaceutical or chemical. Or equivalent through experience in a pharmaceutical lab subject to GMP rules (3 to 5 years).
  • Experience with lab work is a must.
  • Experience with GMP guidelines is a must.
  • A team player, willing to take on a role in the team yourself
  • Attention to quality, safety, productivity…
  • Accurate in performing testing and documentation
  • Independence in planning tasks and following up on actions
  • Language skills: Dutch, as well as technical reading and reporting in English
  • Computer knowledge: Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint..), sharepoint, general computer skills to be able to work with specific lab software applications.
