Oxford Global Resources is looking for a qualified profile within the area of mechanics. This professional will work at the production plant of our client, an American multinational of the chemical industry, located in Vizcaya (Gallarta).
Lead the maintenance department at Gallarta plant with current resources in coordination mainly with the site manager of the same plant and at the same time, organize, control and report all maintenance actions.
Economic control and ratio reports.
Establish and implement corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance policies at Gallarta Site in coordination with the Maintenance Manager Iberia (MMI) based in Badalona (this new position will have hierarchy dependence with the MMI).
Work closely with Engineering Team of Iberia (particularly with MMI) to be able to standardize maintenance subjects in terms of technical standards, safety protocols, good practices, MOC's, equipment, instrumentation, piping, spares, etc. and give support following investments, small projects, potential small process or plant
Where necessary, implement and track related key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to ensure reliability and availability of assets at optimized costs.
Managing and responsability of maintenance for process and production machinery and for all site utilities (HVAC, Fire Protection, Electrical Supply, Pressurised Equipment...) and knowledge of its related regulations.
Establish and implement a correct and standard way of working with SAP PM and follow a policy of critical spare parts and safety spare parts stocks.
Coordinate and "face" with operations for all actions at Gallarta site.
Be involved in design phase of new engineering projects in Gallarta to be aware of "what is coming" and prepare
Experience with legal subjects related to chemical industries and follow always safety and legal standards or protocols as well as internal technical standards or procedures.
Prepare and defend audits related to maintenance (SunCare module, customers, etc.).
Together with the Engineering Team, initiate and conduct root cause analysis after equipment malfunctions or failures.
Coordinate and document relevant inspections and testing of assets in line with local legal and regulatoryrequirements (technical compliance).
Mechanical Engineer studies (desired).
Between 5 - 10 years of experience in similar companies (chemical, pharmaceutical or process
English is essential. Other languages will be valued.
Additional Master will be valued as well.
