DSP Specialist

Interesting position for a DSP Specialist with experience in pharmaceuticals.

Job Description

The DSP Specialist position is much more than a standard laboratory position. You will be working with different volumes and play an essential role in the production processes and quality of medicines. We are looking for a motivated candidate with a great sense of responsibility. You will be responsible for the purification of these products.

Responsibilities

  • Under limited supervision but as part of a team, you will plan, prepare and execute DSP experiments
  • Typical unit operations are filtration and chromatography
  • Perform experiments at pilot scale or in scaled down models


Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with 1+ years of experience or Apprenticeship with 3+ years of experience in a relevant field, e.g. biotechnology or pharmacy
  • Relevant experience with purification techniques, DSP, chromatography, ultrafiltration, diafiltration
  • This is a lab-based position and the ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work
  • Candidates with a PhD are considered overqualified and will not be considered
  • English is a must, German is a plus
  • A valid Swiss work permit of EU passport is a must
