Oxford Global Resources, acting as an HR partner for a well-known and international pharmaceutical company, is searching for a Director Hemato-Oncolgoy Functional Management in Madrid.
Job Description
As a Director you will be accountable for successful country execution of all phases of clinical trials within assigned
therapeutic area(s) or specific role(s), including resource allocation, adherence to time lines and budget,
compliance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, Health Care Compliance (HCC) and
local regulatory requirements. You will support Local R&D Head in shaping and managing local organizational
structure to ensure its optimal efficiency.
Responsibilities
- line management of Functional Managers, and/or other GCO staff, as required.
- to oversee staff performance, development, training, project assignments, workload distribution and to support issue resolution with direct reports.
- to ensure alignment of local goals with organizational objectives.
- to drive innovative solutions and process improvements for the assigned therapeutic area(s), country and GCO/ Global Development (GD) overall
Requirements
- Life Sciences University Degree.
- More than 10 years experience within pharmaceutical industry and clinical research; previous experience as a clinical research manager and line manager.
- Experience in oncology clinical research is a must.
- Experience in managing people/teams up is a must.
- MBA would be an asset
