Job Description

A client involved in mobile (iOS/Android) and web interfaced applications involving Healthcare. Client looking for an Architect with a strong Data Engineering background, along with strong Healthcare experience and also a Mobile Applications/Devices background in a clinical trial environment, to help fine tune and provide for new data platforms. Resource will help define/build/merge as some projects will continue in existing data platform, but there's new needs coming in also, they will need to shape new solution and ensure stronger support for platform also, and any issues that may arise. This is a new entity, with multiple topics/projects with different teams involved. Involves sensitive data/info so need candidates with previous regulations/data privacy experience and to have this type of mindset, understand the challenges such as EPAC control/EU clinical trials control etc also. Looking for a resource who will understand the legacy, and is open minded about not always rebuilding everything but rather incorporate the legacy also. Also involves MRI data, data processing, image processing, testing data and multi-dimensional data. The Data Analytics platform is built on Data Bricks - so previous Databricks experience is key here - the team is lacking knowledge of these areas and need help, so Client want the Architect to train and educate them in this. A BI background in areas such as Power BI/Tableau/Snowflake experience is a big advantage also. Client interested in areas such as SAGE Maker on one side, and Data IQ on the other side, so someone who is willing to discover and help identify the different advantages of the various technologies, and qualify the usage for the data scientists.

Nice to Have:

  • BI areas such as Power BI / Tableau / Snow flake experience
  • French speaking
