This role can be based in either UK or Belgium
Project Description
Our client is currently undertaking the installation and upgrading of packaging lines across plants in the UK and Belgium. They require a Packaging Automation Specialist to join their team and offer expertise in the area of PLC Programming and Commissioning for the automated lines. This specialist will also be required to travel onsite within the UK or Belgium to assist with Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests.
Skills Required
In Depth knowledge of packaging lines (Specifically glass bottling) in the brewing industry.
Expert Siemens PLC knowledge.
Data Collection from PLCs.
Networking of machinery.
Knowledge of Weihanstephaner Standards (WS-Pack)
Knowledge of packaging machine supplier standards such as Krones or KHS a strong plus.
Knowledge of inspection machines a strong plus.
