Job Description
As Associate Scientist Immunological Assays you will work as a researcher and technician for a research & development oriented biotechnology company with a focus on developing immunological methods to test vaccine products. With your expertise in immunology and virology you will perform different assays like ELISA, virus neutralization assays, PBMC isolations, and more, in this hands-on laboratory position. You work together with Scientists, Technicians and Associate Scientists and report to the Senior Scientist and Team Manager. It is a fulltime position for at least one year, and with a possibility of extension and long term.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on laboratory experiments;
- Viral work like virus neutralization assays;
- Immunological assays like ELISA;
- Work in BSL2 or BSL3 and GMP environment;
Requirements
- Finished BSc or MSc degree in life science;
- Work or internship experience with virology and immunology;
- Desire to work in a hands-on position;
- Professional English, with Dutch as a plus;
- Candidates with a PhD are not qualified for this position!
Terms
- Contract: one year contract with possibility of extension;
- Salary indication: €2800 to €3800;
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week;
