Job Description
As a Manufacturing Team Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of approximately 15 Biotech Associates working in cell therapy manufacturing
- Providing day-to-day operational leadership while maintaining a visible presence on the manufacturing floor
- Working closely with fellow Production Team Leads to ensure continuous 24/7 manufacturing operations
- Driving the timely completion of manufacturing documentation, investigations, deviations, and batch closure activities
- Ensuring the highest standards of GMP compliance, product quality, and operational safety
- Supporting your team with technical and operational challenges during manufacturing activities
- Collaborating with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Manufacturing Compliance to resolve issues and implement continuous improvements
- Creating a positive team culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous development
- Working in a 6-shift rotation, including evenings, nights, and weekends
Profile
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of leadership experience within cell therapy, ATMP, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, or another GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
- Proven hands-on experience in GMP manufacturing, preferably within cell therapy or advanced therapies
- Strong understanding of aseptic manufacturing processes, GMP regulations, and quality systems
- Experience managing investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and manufacturing documentation
- Confident leader with excellent coaching, communication, and decision-making skills
- Able to balance operational priorities while developing and motivating a high-performing team
- Excellent command of the English language
- Willingness to work in a 6-shift schedule, including evenings, nights, and weekends
Employment Conditions
- Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 gross per year, depending on experience, plus 31.3% shift allowance
- Contract: Initial 12-month contract with the intention of permanent employment
