Responsibilities
- Lead and support microbial fermentation campaigns from planning to execution
- Ensure safety, hygiene, and environmental standards are met through risk assessments
- Create and review production documentation, including electronic batch records
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, ensuring smooth batch execution
- Handle deviations, change controls, and CAPAs to maintain top GMP standards
- Contribute to capital projects-supporting setup, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment and systems
- Develop and update DeltaV automation recipes
- Coordinate with engineering teams for campaign prep and facility changeovers
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement projects in manufacturing
- Train operators on processes and equipment
- Represent the production team during audits and customer visits
Requirements
- Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field
- 1-5 years of experience in bioprocessing, ideally in microbial fermentation
- Strong understanding of GMP and biotechnical manufacturing
- Fluent in English; German is a bonus
- Great communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
- On-site role-no remote work
