Oxford Global Resources is looking for a Distribution Planner to work in a multinational chemical company located in Badalona.
Development and execution of global planning for annual rolling and inventory strategies, definition of planning parameters (safety stocks, lot sizes, lead times) considering requirements of global supply network Responsibility for regular re-planning activities, exception handling where needed and taking an active role in allocation management/AtP by ensuring transparency on required information and operational alignment of stakeholders. Management of complete replenishment end-to-end P2P process from purchase order conversion/creation till goods receipt in regional/ local stock locations with support from logistics management.
Participation in S&OP process: perform RCCP, execution of Supply Planning and alignment with operations on capacity availability, participate in S&OP meeting and contribute to decisions within range of empowerment. Identification of conflicting targets as well as required adjustments to planning and schedules (production, sales & distribution, inventories)
Active management of global inventories: setting and monitoring of target stock on planning parameters and net demand development, incl. global slow mover.
Execution of planning and inventory strategies, inventory forecast, maintenance of Planning parameters and review in global network.
Monitoring and actively managing in daily/ weekly routine/ ad-hoc time horizon:
Inventory availability for sales or next process step execution
Material Masterdata settings (parameters for Planning and execution)
creation and monitoring of plan to execution elements ( plan to process order, PurchReq to PO) and updating for material availability transparency
Alignment and Information sharing to Stakeholders (CSR, Sales Managers, MDMs, Logistics and Management)
Analyzing, Planning and Information in monthly/ tactical/ ad-hoc:
Annual net demand plan to production (incl. capacity requirement for additional handling steps e.g., refilling), procurement, logistics
Analysis and feedback of inventory development plans based on FCST and PTP / PTF adhearance assumptions
Active process optimization considering automation and optimization of tasks with understanding of Interfaces and Stakeholder pro/cons
Superior Studies in the field.
At least two years of experience in the same tasks and duties.
Fluent English is a must.
Long term contract (6 first months hired by Oxford Global Resources).
Salary according skills and experience.
40% remote position.
