We are looking for an analyst to test petrochemical compounds like petrol, diesel, biofuels, and other oil-based products in Amsterdam. The position is in a 5-shift system, so apply immediately if that suits you!
Job description
You are performing a very wide range of analytical techniques on oil-based products, such as petrol, diesel, FAME, and more. Together with a small team you ensure a timely and accurate analysis to make sure the clients have the required information and results. You do not need experience with all types of tests mentioned below, but a chemical background is required. Besides the analyses, you make blends and provide advice on additives based on your analyses. Besides purely analytical work, this lab also has engines to determine octane-number and other properties of the oils. This team works in 5 shifts, meaning you have morning, evening, and nightshifts. Of course, you get a nice shift-allowance and have 4 days off in a row very regularly, giving you a lot of free time.

Profile
- MBO degree (secondary vocational education) in chemistry
- Ability to work in 5 shifts, a car is required
- You speak English and are willing to learn Dutch
