Are you an analyst interested in immunology and drug development? Then we are looking for you! We have a vacancy available as technician clinical immunology, wherein you will study vaccines and other pharmaceuticals with immunological assay such as ELISA, Virus Neutralization Assays, and ELISpot.

Job Description
Our client is a large international pharmaceutical company that aims to combat infectious diseases. Do you want to contribute to the development of pharmaceutical products? Then the position of Assistant Scientist within the Clinical Immunology department might be your next challenge! In this role you will work on the immunological analysis of vaccine candidates in clinical trials. Besides clinical sample analysis, this department works on the development and validation of new immunological assays. Your tasks will include performing serological immuno-assays like ELISA and Virus Neutralization Assays in order to deliver results for clinical studies. Furthermore you support the development of assays needed for clinical sample analysis, and you could be involved in sample management. To safeguard the quality and safety of the products, you do your job in a GCLP accredited lab, meaning that all activities must follow prescribed procedures, and must be documented accurately in (digital) lab note books. You report your results to supervisors and the scientist, who scientifically review the experiments, and together you plan next steps.

Responsibilities
* Laboratory analysis of serological samples by means of immuno assays;
* Tests include ELISA, Virus Neutralization assays, intracellular cytokine staining, and ELISpot;
* Responsible for planning experiments, and executing them in due time;
* Data analysis and reporting of results;
* Communicating experimental outcomes with scientists;
* Additional tasks such as sample management, logistics etc.;
* Work in compliance with GCLP guidelines;

Requirements
* Education in a relevant field e.g. immunology, biochemistry, Life sciences, Virology;
* MLO, HLO, or BSc level applicants are preferred, but MSc level applicants are welcome to apply as well;
* Must have experience with immunological assays, at least ELISA;
* (Internship)experience in a pharmaceutical setting is required;
* Good knowledge on GMP, of GCLP regulations;
* Experience or affinity with automation and digitalization;
* Having previously worked with LIMS systems in considered a pré;
* A can-do mentality;
* Result-driven and hardworking;
* English is a Must, Dutch is considered a plus;
* Valid Dutch work permit is a must;

* Salary: €2600- €3300 gross monthly based on a full-time position
