Job Description
The Contract Specialist operates at a Country/Regional level. The scope of responsibilities may vary and is dependent on project allocations and study start-up process specifics in the country/region. The Site Contract Specialist reports to (Senior) Study Start-up Manager or Site Contract Manager/(Associate)Director Study Start-up depending on the department management structure in the country/region.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates negotiation of site agreements and budgets to ensure alignment to the site activation plan
- Customizes and prepares country- and site-specific agreements and organizes their translation
- Tracks the status of site agreement and budget negotiation
- Prepares executable version of site agreements and budgets and coordinates the signature process
- Files executed site agreements in the Trial Master File
- Updates all concerned functions on the site contracting process
- Identifies project-specific issues related to site agreements and budgets
- Participates in development of training materials related to site agreements and budgets
- Trains department staff in matters related to site agreements and budgets
Requirements
- College or university degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that presents the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- At least 2 years' experience in clinical research including at least 1 year of experience in site agreement and budget negotiation in Belgium
- Language skills : Fluent in Dutch/English and good knowledge in French
- Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications
