Oxford's client is urgently for looking for a sensor engineer to develop an ultrasonic flow sensor. This person should have experience in flow sensing, ideally in the field of ultrasound, as well as knowledge of fluid mechanics and measurement technology/calibration procedures. The individual will actively investigate prototypes by testing flow sensors on a test rig, analyzing the data, interpreting the results, and developing design options.
The person should also identify risks in the industrialization process and discuss risk reduction measures with other project participants. Further tasks could include optimizing the flow body or the aging behavior of ultrasonic transducers. The project is working on a prototype upgrading an existing product.
This is a 3 month(initial) contract with expected extension to end of 2024. The applicant must work onsite and be based in Switzerland.
