Job Description:
As the right hand of the head of production, your role is multifaceted. You lead a team of supervisors overseeing all of production and ensuring the site's targets are met, while upholding safety and quality standards. You'll actively engage in optimization projects, introducing new production lines and processes. Since you are proficient in OPEX principles, you'll employ them to enhance productivity, fine-tuning production processes for peak performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily shifts, overseeing all production activities
- Take ownership of meeting site targets while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Lead/support optimization projects, introducing new production lines and processes
- Use OPEX to fine-tune production processes for peak performance
- Actively engage in resource management and collaborate with other departments
- Mentor and guide the Production Supervisor Team
- Identify skill gaps and provide coaching/training to address them
- Ensure data integrity in production and act as an emergency manager in crisis situations
- Represent the production department in regulatory inspections and global audits
- Serve as the face of production to internal and external customers
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree or extensive working experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a production department or equivalent leadership qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical production is a pré
- Knowledge of operational excellence (OPEX) and Belt certification is a bonus
- Proficient in production processes and quality standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; proficiency in English, with Dutch being a plus
