Job Description
As a Senior Chemical Analyst, you will perform a variety of chemical analyses on petrochemical and related products using advanced laboratory techniques. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety while working in a fast-paced environment. The role involves shift work and close collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely reporting.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical analyses on oil, petrochemical, and related products using standard and advanced techniques.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols in all laboratory activities.
- Accurately document and report test results, maintaining clear communication with internal teams.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and troubleshoot issues when necessary.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Completed MBO or equivalent education in chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a petrochemical laboratory or similar environment.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, with good communication skills.
- Experience with advanced analytical techniques and laboratory equipment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a 5-shift system.
